With as large as the group was, it would have been much more effective to have us discuss in table groups and then report back. Hashing out challenges of working with faculty is not new nor is it particularly interesting or helpful.

Though the topic wandered it was all valuable discussion to be a part of. Love the idea of a central report from NWACC institutions re what their course and assessment design process is.

I think we moved toward a different topic – shifting faculty culture, but it was a helpful discussion.

I had some excellent takeaways from the session that I can definitely put to work at my institution, and also made a couple of excellent connections

It would have been nice to be a part of a smaller group.

we wandered off the original topic but always good to discuss common challenges

Super ideas!

very interesting

Excited to help out with this project this year!

Looking forward to getting involved. Asking universities here today to add cards to the deck is a good idea, really hope it flies!

yes, excellent discussion and some very good ideas from colleagues. I can definitely put some of these concepts into action at my school.

Loved getting to hear about the work being done by other NWACC institutions. Nice opportunity to hear about best practices and challenges.

Lauren did a great job facilitating! The disucssion was lively and it was nice to hear differnt models for faculty development.

I enjoy the natural path that our conversation took as well as the presentation of Matt’s new tool!

I would like to talk about institutional analytics and policy next year.

Good conversation about concerns with applying analytics to infinite variety of teaching styles

Great to hear the variety of processes that are happening across 2 and 4 year schools. I think that it is essential that the director who oversees the instructional designers, embrace the role of bad cop. That keeps designers as the happy helpers!

Good to hear what other schools are doing

Good conversation — highlights disparity among schools, lack of standardization of practice rampant in the field

Good overview of practices of different schools.
